Default Removing the computer for mailorder tune...

I've read the posts relating all the trouble people have had removing the computer to send off and had real reservations about doing it. Well, today was the day, it had to be done. I can definitely see what all the fuss is about, what a !@#$%^&* hard area to see, feel, and work, then remembered a little tip that Chris from East Coast Supercharging gave another member about removing his unit. If you look up at the fender and where it mounts by the door, there's a 7mm screw that allows the bottom of the fender to swivel out and away from the body of the car, giving you approx 6-8" of room. You can see the 7mm screws holding the front and rear brackets together so well, and no re-alignment problems after replacing it. What a difference. Chris at ECS said it takes them 5 minutes to remove it, I think he was exagerating, cause it took me less than that and no broken mounts. Let's hear it for Chris at ECS !
