Anyone using a off road X pipe -ala LAPD?
I saw one on L.A.P.D's website. It replaces the cats. Besides O2 simulators is there anything else I would have to do to run these? Is there any cutting involved in installing them. Has anyone backed up L.A.P.Ds claim of 16Hp and 17 lbs of torque? Will I throw any codes? Thanks

We sell the same x pipe. The x pipe is a weld in unit that replaces your cats. Cutting and welding is how it is installed. Besides 02 simms, nothing else is needed. You should not have problems with codes. The dyno numbers seem a bit high...we have seen 8-10 hp gain on average.
