from the RED LINE tech-documentation the recommendations are as followed
1 = A4 = automatic transmission => D4ATF (DEXRON III/GL-4)
2 = MN6 = manual transmission => MT90 (75W-90/GL-4)
3 = Rear End => 75W-90 (no suppl. friction modifier is required b/c everything is already in).
All those syrups are meeting or exceeding GM specs, confirmed by my GM DEALER. They want to start to introduce RED LINE products for the special customers, asking for a little more than the usual.

the auto transmission fluid is the only atf they make that meets the specs for the tranny. if you look in your owners manual it reuires dot 3 and the ATF is Dot 4.
