I'm thinking of installing a Centerforce Dual Friction clutch in my '02 Z06 and noticed they sell it with either an 11" or 12" disk. I am looking at the 12" version, but have a couple of questions.
Does the 12" fit the stock flywheel or would I have to buy an aftermarket one?
Also, for the life of me I can't figure out why the 12" is less expensive than the 11". Can someone enlighten me?
Just installed the Centerforce 12" with a resurfaced stock flywheel (it was pretty new). I also installed the Tick MC with remote bleeder. Almost done breaking it in, seems to be doing pretty well.

Well since it is not a solid disk, it will chatter a bit if the clutch is not let out perfect. But man does it sure grab. It is definitely more of an on/off clutch. And for the money, it's hard to beat.

I went with the 11 because I didn't like the disc in the 12". Mine also chatters a bit but it's more the way you release it, and it grabs hard.
The price difference is one of lifes mysteries. I'd venture a guess it's the differences in design of the clutch disc.
