ABS lights is on and the Active Control light is on. And the steering wheel got a little stiffer when driving. But I just checked the power steering fluid and it was full.

The TCS No Comm is the issue with the light. I suggest a PM to Bill Curlee
Upper right corner where your login name is, you'll see the "Private Messages". In there, you can select a specific login name to PM too. In this case, its "Bill Curlee". He might see this thread before that anyway but you need his help.
vetteboy850,
I have the same exact problem with the exception of reduced power. I have the TCS light, ABS light, and service engine soon. I spoke with Bill and he thinks that it is either a ground or the actual TCS module connector. additionally it could be a fuse under the hood. I believe the fuse number is #53. I havent had the chance to trouble shoot it anyfurther than the battery, battery connection, terminal posts, ect. I plan on it this weekend. Please Please Please let me know if you solve this problem before I do, and i will do the same.

I took it to the dealership to get it fixed. They plugged it into their computer and they said TCS no comm. still. So they unplugged it to rescan. And so when they unplugged the scanner they said all the warning lights are gone. And my car was back to normal? I dont really know I guess it was an error? But yea ever since then I have no problem with it.
So after much pain and research and help from Bill Curlee and the rest of you guys, got her fixed ! ! ! While I was getting my new tires mounted at the dealer (read my last post about that **** show) I was talking with their "corvette guy" about the TCS NO-COMM, and he mentioned the ground connections and i was like nah-nah, done that, and he metioned the battery connection, and i was like nope done that too. I mentioned that it seemed to be more of a connection issue, because in its early stages the engine lights would come and go. So , while it was on the lift anlready, he disconnected the TCS plug and said well that doesnt look good. He said that all the terminal connections were stretched out and probably not getting good contact. so he "re-gapped" each one of the holes that the prongs go into, about 20-30 of them, plugged that sucker back together and said "you watch this, i bet i fixed it" and sure enough it was fixed. i have been driving on it all this week with ZERO freakin check engine lights and bells and warnings. First time in a year that i havent had some damn ABS, TCS related light on the dash. The best part about the whole thing was that i was just getting the new tires re-balanced (read my previous post) and they were doing that free of charge, and then they fixed the TCS connection free of charge. Looks like my luck is turning around. Happy driving boys.

I've only had my 2000 c5 a few weeks, however, every time I start or restart the engine I get the service engine soon readout. I hit the reset and its gone, then when I restart, its the same thing. Please help educate me as to what to check.
