Odd fuel gauge reading

I was driving on the freeway on cruise control about 40 miles after a fill-up and my fuel gauge dropped to E. I restarted the car, the fuel gauge will bounce during the self test so I know that part is functional. I'm too new to these cars to know where to start.

'02 C5, 56K, 6spd

Common problem with the C5's... Unfortunately they are plagued with Electrical Gremlins, my 01 Z06 is no different... Just drive it a little further, it will fix itself..

Fixed. Thanks a lot! I see what you mean about gremlins. I went to a car wash today because some sap got on her and I needed to get it washed. Now the windshield wipers went all goofy. Gotta search that now. Haha. wtf
