Default Hawk Performance Ceramic

Just wondered if anyone used them and if you liked them. Do they really stop better than stock C5 pads, as the company claims?

Thanks,

AJ

I installed the Hawk Ceramics along with new D/S rotors and SS brake lines and there is a noticeable difference. Pedal feels much firmer, requires less effort and stops much shorter when you really need to slam the brakes.. Also much less brake dust on the wheels

Default Pads

Thanks for the reply. Sounds like a good choice to me for a street car.

Better braking, low noise, low dust.

I went with Hawk HPS pads and stock rotors, braking is amazing short distance, no noise or squeaks, but expect some dust. iam sure even ceramic version of Hawk would be better than GM ceramic. I love Hawk products.

I have the ceramic pads. Lots of squeaks in the beginning but they have mostly gone away. I dont have much if any over 1k miles on them.

The stopping is fun. Almost didn't see a redlight once; made the stop really easily - much to the wife's dismay
