Question about wires for IAT sensor

OK, did alot of searching but couldnt find the answer I am looking for. I have a 5 pin MAFS on my car with the IAT sensor built in. What I need to do is find out which of those 5 wires control the IAT sensor so I can cut them and run the seperate IAT sensor in a different location.

Just incase you guys are wondering why I want to do this, its because I am installing a Methanol kit on my car and I obviously have to spray it after the MAFS. So to do it the right way, I must have the IAT sensor after the meth.

The purple wire is IAT low reference (ground).
The tan wire is IAT signal to PCM.

Thanks so much. I ordered a IAT sensor and pigtail from GM. Do I have to wire the sensor a certain way or does it not matter which wires go on each side?

On a 2 wire temperature sensor, I don't believe it matters.

It's basically just a variable resistor device, shouldn't be polarity sensitive.
