When I drive my car the DIC keeps saying "low oil level". The oil pressure gauge is right where its supposed to be and checked the dipstick and that is reading fine.

What is my next step to fix the problem?
With the ignition on:
Take the connector off the oil level switch, and check for 12 volts at pin A(brown wire), and check for ground at pin B(black wire). If that checks good, jumper the contacts. If the message goes away....you have a bad oil level sensor.

I had that after a $90 certified GM oil change, wiped off the dip stick, checked it and it was below the range window. Added a quart and it was good.
If the sensor issue does not pan out, I think there was an issue with a bad calibration on the dip stick on some C5’s, after this experience I believe mine. If your oil is too low you can really hear the valve train when the engine is warming up, oil temps may run high as well. When the oil level is in the window I get a silky smooth sound out of the engine. I’m typically 205ºF oil temp in Florida. However if the oil level goes above the window on the dip stick it could create other issues.
