Starter Problem?

Starter Problem?
I have a 2002 C5 w/automatic. With no warning or alarms the car failed to start. There was no clicking of the solenoid or any other noises, just the lights dimming like it was going to ground. I put a battery charger on the battery and made sure it was fully charged and it did the same thing. The car has 60K miles on it. Any ideas would be helpful.
