Vacuum Canister Relocation or Removal
Alright guys and gals -- I need some help. I'm trying to relocate, or even better, "REMOVE" the Vacuum Canister solenoid and that ugly piping on the top of my 98 C5's engine.
On the left side of the engine (looking forward as if you were driving) there is a hard plastic pipe that travels from behind the throttle body, through two solenoids, and terminates at what appears to be the fuel tank vent line. It is the most unsightly piece of underhood plumbing I've ever seen and I hate it!
If anybody out there knows of a way to relocate, remove or replumb that tube and it's components I would love to hear from you.
