Just had my new Bridgestone S-03's mounted and balanced. Does anyone know what the recommended air pressure is? Is it the same as the run-craps? Man, just on the ride home I noticed the difference in road noise, or should I say lack thereof. :D
Since the stiff sidewalls on runflats do the job of some of the air pressure, I'd be inclined to run a little more pressure with non-runflats. Maybe 32-34 psi Cold? On the C4's when runflats were an option, does anyone know what the difference (if any) was between recommended pressures?

The S-03's are great! Much better ride and traction. :yesnod:
When I replaced my run-flats with Michelin Pilot Sports I had the same question. After speaking with custmer service tech at Michelin and from some feedback on this forum, there is a formula that is used to calculate the correct pressure based on the carrying capacity of the tires and the weight of the car. For my set up it is between 34 and 35 psi for the fronts and 32 for the rears. Sorry, but I can't find what that formula is.
I run my Pilot Sprts 265/295 at 31psi front and 28 rear (cold). This gives me even tire wear. I ran my first set at 30 all around and the center of the rears wore, I wasn't using the whole tire = less traction.

I also mounted S-03's and I'm starting at 30 PSI. However, after reading above posts, I think that I will try the 31 front and 28 rear as I also noticed that my rear EMT's wore down more in the middle. I agree that the S-03's are a great tire. I wish that I had swapped out the EMT's years ago. What a pleasure to drive now without that harsh ride from worn run-craps!
When balancing the S-03's we found that the front 17" tires appearred to be a little out of round. I do get a slight shimmy at 80-90 MPH. However I've only put about 70 miles on these tires. I'll get an alignment this week just to be sure that lowering did not upset the alignment. :seeya
I just got S03's too. I'm running 32 all around as a starting point. I ran 30 in the run flats.
I've been thinking about alignment since the new tires are on. When I lowered I got an alignment right away. But I don't know that the alignment did any good because the alignment guys just dialed up the specs for the stock settings. A proper alingment would have to be calculated to the new suspension geometery.
BTW: I've always thought that over inflation wore the middle and under wore the outer edges.
