Default Depo headlight adj

Anyone running the depo headlights brake the bad news and tell me the only way to adj them is by removing the front bumper! I aligned them to a wall to close and from the street I can see what everyone is doing on the 2nd floor of their homes... with the highbeams on helicopters stay clear! Dumb mistake just hoping I dont have to take front bumper back off...\

If anyone could help that would be great!

Hey Nick

I just installed and aligned my depo lights the other day.
Heres how I did it.
Park the car on ramps facing your garage and mark the current top of the low beam light location with blue tape. I then accessed the depo light alignment screw under the unit thru the access panel under the front bumper and adjacent to the airdam that hangs down..

My vette was parked 8feet from the garage when at the top of the ramps(12" tall ramp) and the light aligned at 51" above the ground on the garage.. I simply cranked the screw on the bottem of the depo lights while the vette was up on the ramps to 31" above the ground.
I then drove the vette off the ramps and drove around during dusk and saw the alignement was perfect. If you need to leave the ramps in the same place and lower or raise light angle as needed from access panel below.

When you have them dialed in...close the access and enjoy!

I actually installed the lights this way! no need to pull any bumpers off!!

Hope this helps you!!

Good question!

I simply mounted the lights with the three brackets and the fourth front bracket mounted but without a bolt or a hole for it. Take a marker and trace out the location the front bracket makes on the front bump and where a bolt would need to go. Then remove it all and drill the hole and use a self tapping screw. now reinstall the depo lights and use all four bolts.. And your done..It works great!

good luck!
