Default C6 Z51 Sway Bar Kits Available (Some With Poly Bushings)

Hello All,

I have 76 sets of Z51 sway bars in stock. I know a lot of people have been asking me for them, so if you're patient, I'll get them together and get them out to you.

I am offering a free upgrade to poly Z51 bushings with the grease, etc, to the first 30 customers who place an order. They are $199.24 and a free upgrade to the poly bushings for the first 30 customers.

To order, go to www.gmpartshouse.com/search.html and use part number c6z51bars and be sure to select Chevrolet make.

Thanks, Gene.

Gene,
How do the C6 Z51 bars compare to the C5 Z06 bars? Larger?

Same mounting brackets and just change the bushings?

Gene,

Same question here. Also how do they compare to the C5 T1 bars?

I'm looking to upgrade my C5 Z06 suspension for the track.

I could be convinced to buy these if I knew clearly what the benefit would be over stock. Car driven lots for daily to work and some HPDE in the summer.

Yes, they are larger than the C5Z06. There are many charts on the forum here comparing the C5 and C6 bars and their exact sizes. Remember, the inside diameter of the bushing changes, not the outside, so nothing needs to be done with the brackets.

The T1 bars are huge and should not really be used on the street. If you're looking to do the track only, then you need to stick with the T1 bars.

Increased handling and cornering ability is majorly improved. The car leans much, much less going into the turns. Sounds like a great mod for you.

Default Grease?

I bought the bars from you a while back and installed with the small grease pkg. Started squawking, then siliconed them. Now noisy again. Do you have the proper grease PN?, and can you supply it if we order it? $ ?

Have you tried Synthetic Caliper Grease? It contains moly, Teflon and graphite and is very waterproof. Inexpensive tubes are available at most AP stores. Look for the Sta-Lube brand (made by CRC) in a plastic tube.
