What didnt you like about the T1, I think I am going with the hammer 222/222 112 which is similar on my 97 a4. Hope its what I'm looking for. Just wish I could hear it installed first.

If you look at my lat topic (I have been robbed), you will know why I am thinking about changing it out. I don't know what else to do.

I´m in progress installing a 222/222 114* cam.
Should work fine.

Damn, this is not good to hear. Hope I have better luck with my cam. Hope you have better luck also. Sounds like its gotta be the programming, but I'm definitly no expert.

I'm having the 218/218 114 done by MMS with stage II heads and every other bolt on added.

Greetings! Like George, I am installing MMS Stage 2 heads (and numerous bolt-ons tomorrow) but I am going with the MMS 224 3.1v cam which is pretty much at the outside limit that you would want for an A4.

From everything that I have heard on this list and others, a larger cam than that will present you with significant idle problems. Also, the issue of find someone who is competent to do the PCM tuning after the install is almost as important as which cam to pick!

Current dyno: 296.8 rwhp and 339.0 rwtq
Best e.t. = 12 .67
Best mph = 108.80
Best 60' = 1.80

Vortex ram air, power-duct/coupler/B7B tri-flo, x-pipe, Corsa indy's, T-body collant bypass, 3.42's, Pro-Torque 2400, ET Streets, skinnys

I'll post new dyno and the more important track numbers as soon as MMS is
done with my baby! Good luck to us all! :flag
