C5 column upgrade
Has anyone performed a column upgrade from a regular to a telescoping column? I have a 99 and have purchased a 99 telescoping wheel. I have installed it but haven't figured out where to connect the extra wires yet. There is a wire plug from the motor at the end of the column, a wire plug from the actuator located at center, and the a wire plug from the switch located on the column. Here are my questions :
1). Jason from the vette yard, said all the harnesses are the same (telesopic and non-telescopic) and the plugs should be there. Is this true?
2). Does the left seat module have to be changed also, or are they all the same?
3). I have the service manuals with the schematics, will I have to spice wires in ?
4). Also any relevant info you might have will be much appreciated.
