Does anyone know what the CFM's (Cubic Feet/min.) that the Dual Electric Fans put out. I bought two from a junk yard to put into my Trailblazer Ext. with a 5.3 liter engine. I was guided to this Web site by Mid-America Corvettes.
Pulled this from a search. Wondering the same myself.
Well the dual Dewitts fans are 3200 total cfm, which they said are twice the stock fans..
So figure the stock ones @ 1600 cfm total or 800 cfm per fan.
From Dewitts:
I don't really offer dual 11 for a C5 but we are developing a custom dual 12 package. This will double the stock cfm from 1600cfm to 3260cfm. We simply take a factory GM plastic shroud, cnc the stock pattern off, and pop rivet two SPAL fans onto it. This way the final product fits a stock GM radiator and our Direct Fit model.
So it looks like your answer is 1600cfm for the stock dual fans.
that calls for install of a Ford Taurus fan with 4600 cfm's at high speed.I did it on my Wrangler....
I am curious where you got 4600 cfm? I have seen many people quote that number when the ford fans are really 2700 CFM. See real testing that proves this flow rate

Well,I obviously didn't test them ,so going by what I heard.
But a lot of Wrangler or Ford F150 owners 9I have those too) are switching the belt driven fans to the older single ford fans for supposedly best cooling efficiency there...so there must be something there....
