Default Anybody else using NX's Maximizer Progressive Controller?

Just curious how it works for anyone else? What programming setup works best for 100-150 wet shot?

Progressive controllers are harder on the silonoids (sp?). With a 100 or 150 shot you only need a window switch. Set your lower window at 3K and upper at 5800. you wont be disappointed.

It may be harder on the solenoids, but without the controller, it's harder on your drivetrain, clutch especially. I'd rather rebuild the solenoid every year than replace my clutch. I'm still looking for a good controller myself.

I have it, and I use it with a 200 shot. Starting at 50% and ending @ 100% in 1.5 seconds......

Thanks for the reply: As much as I use the system the solenoids should last forever. However I like the controller. It seems to really help me get traction in 1st and 2nd. It has a reset rise feature that will bump the start percentage up every shift to whatever I want. ie. 25%-100% in 2 seconds in first gear, 45%-100% in 2 seconds in second, 65% to 100% in 2 seconds in third, etc. I can hardly even hook up with that combination with 295 pilots on the back. The other night I even got loose in third for a couple of seconds. Man I love this stuff!

Just curious, does it even take you 2 seconds to go from 3000rpms to redline in 1st gear? That seems long with N2O. So it sounds like the Maximizer is pretty adjustable? How much did you guys pay for it and where did you get it?

Thanks!

Well, considering I am spinning most of the time it does. But the point is I don't even care if I am in second by 2 seconds. This way I never reach a full shot because I don't need it in first. But actually 2 seconds was just an example. I really have not tuned it yet with track time.

This thing is a real good idea for 150hp shots or bigger. I really dont think its necessary with a 100hp shot. I have ran many bottles through my heads/cam car with a 100shot and when it kicks in, it really doesnt feel like that big of an impact on the driveline. I guess the controller would help with traction issues slightly in first gear but I never start spraying until second anyway.
