I read on the MTI site that it underdrives the ac about 10% and the rest of the accesories by 25%. Does that mean I would only get 25% of my current Bose's output? If so, anyone here have this pully, and how has it affected the ac and the rest of the car? And how much was the hp gain for a heads/cam car? Thanx guys. :seeya
I have the pulley on my car, the stereo plays the same and the AC works just fine. When I got the car back it pulled harder and went faster. I didnt dyno it, so I dont know the actual HP #'s that it gave me. What I do know is that I would not ever take it off the car unless I did a S/C. You have to have the stock pulley to run that. :yesnod:
I have the ASP underdrive pulley. I've never notice a problem with it. I also have a Optima Yellow top. I don't know if it really has any benefit. I did my Heads, Cam, Headers, Pulley, and LS6 manifold all at the same time.

What a trip, I didnt notice this thread when I posted mine, very similar. Someone I know today was talking about stereos and said that he couldnt have a amp in his car because he had a underdrive pully(its not a vette however if that matters). I have a amp and custome stereo, however I ordered a underdrive pully a few days ago to go with the heads cam pack that I am having installed and thought I had better ask.
Thanx guys. I'm just trying to squeeze more hp out of my car without doing a major work to the engine. Is there a diff bet the 2 pullies? I would like to know which one to get? Thanx again. :seeya
