Default Where to put Cutouts???

Hi i´m wondering

i just bought pair of Electric cutouts 3" for my Vette

i´m wondering where on the exhaust is the best spot to put them?

My Exhaust system is like this:

kooks long tubes headers 1 "3/4 to 3" + no cats+ 3" Xpipes, + then 2,5 pipes and stock z06 ti-catback

so? What do you guys think?

You will get different sounds based on how "late" you install them. I went for very "late" with my stock setup, still really loud.....I mean really loud.

hi

I was considering to put them right after X-pipe.

But are any one using them before X-pipe, right after headers.... where the cats are/should be?

Prettty much everyone puts them in the same place as the above pic. There is some nice free space right under the tranny, right before the rear end. I can't see there being enough room in the tunnel (I baaareelly fit 3" high flow cats in there).
