03 z06 electrical issues
the wire running from the starter to the alternator grounded on the headers and burnt the fussible link. we replaced the wire and got everything working again, but now the car shuts off if it see's any vehichle speed. you can rev it in neutral all day, but as soon as you try to move the car under its own power it just shuts off and will no restart until the the car has reached a full stop. it sarts and idles all day when its stopped. any info on what couuld be casueing this problem would be appriciated.

That sounds like the column lock issue. Any other messages? Pull your codes and post them...make sure you also include the "H"'s and "C"'s for each code

well after some more diagnosis and a call to the dealer i found out the recall was already done to this particular car. i tried doing the relay bypass with no success. so it looks like its off to the dealer to spend some money. the recall was done in 07 and they only give a 12 month warrnety on the reall. so anything that gets fixed is out of the pocket. they said that something else went bad not related to the recall relay.
