Just got a used set of 07 Z06 sway bars & Pfadt bushings for my 98 f45 tryed to install them but the stock clamps don't fit.mine seem two be to small and the wrong contour, have only tryed the rear. what clamps do I need???
The clamps and bushings that you have on your 98 vette are to small for Z06 sway bars, you have to get larger bushings and clamps to fit the larger bars.
Get the set up for a Z06 and you'll be fine.
They WILL make a difference

yup, you need the C6 Z06 clamps and bushings, stock clamps are too small. Be careful with those sway bars, they are a bit overkill for your car. Hope you got at least 305's on the rear.
Careful what you pass on here gents. I installed a set of C6 Z06 sway bars using the stock brackets and they fit and work perfectly on my wife's stock-suspensioned, stock runflatted '02 coupe. I have run this car hard around long sweepers, tight corners and in the rain and it drives great.
Stock clamps work fine but you obviously need the Z06 bushings. I used the stock end links also.
These suckers are beefy: 1-3/16" rear bar (1/16" bigger than my Hotchkis rear bar) and 1-1/4" front bar (slightly smaller than my front Hotchkis bar).
No issues in mounting them - they fit perfectly. I thoroughly greased the bushings and used blue Loctite on the end links.
They are C6 Z06 bars. Gene had a sale on them a few months ago along with C6 Z51 bars for a steal and several dozen of us got in on the deal. If you don't believe that, PM Gene yourself.
Better yet, re-read my post and you'll see the rear bar measured ~1.19" (~28 mm) while the front measured ~1-1/4" (~31 mm). Check the chart below and you'll see the C5 Z06 bars are 23.6 mm and 30 mm, rear and front resp. while the C6 Z06 bars are what mine measured.
I finally got a set of the C6 Z51 bars last Friday (Thanks Gene) and installed them Saturday morning. The brackets fit just fine as did the end links. The bars made a significant difference and the car seems to be very balanced with a slight amount of under steer.
