Vararam is the best unit for the C5. We have a sale on them for $255 shipped now.

Thanks, I searched but must have missed that one. I just basically wanted to see what everyone was running. Looks like just a few are preferred, mine is one of them so thats good. Probably should have this thread closed.

I have the VR+Power Duct on my 02Z and love it!
While you're doing this, also get the Halltech Honeycomb MAF screen(about $40) to straighten out all the additional cool air.You can feel the diff.
JWmotoring is a good CF vendor and that's a heckofa good price.

Looks like lots options and opinions. Pretty happy with the blackwing, it was on the car when I purchased it and seems to be a nice piece.

I like my dual cone Volant. Looks good and works well. So many folks on the forum are concerned about water getting on their CAI's. Personally, I've literally opened the hood right after washing the car, allowing a flood of water to hit the cones, with nary a problem.
My suspicion is that by having such a large surface area for air to enter that very little vacuum is created, thereby allowing the water to simply run off or dry without affecting the engine at all.
Works for me. But buy what you like. It's your car and your responsibility.
