New motor help lt1
Pulled the Lt1 out of my sons car and bored it out 30 over. Put in forged pistons, new bigger crank and cam along with 6" rods. I also put in 6.0 Crane roller rocker arms and new hooker headers.
About 500 miles into the motor the transmission went out (4l60-e) so we had it rebuilt with a shift kit and Corvette servo.
After getting the car back from the transmission shop it had no ***** on the low end. For some reason one of the rocker arms was loose and about to fall off after the drive home so I tightend it up.
The car is great at about 3 grand in first gear. While driving it down the street at about 20mph in first gear, the thing is wild fast, but from a dead stop it won't even do a burn out.
Any ideas????
