underdrive pully question

underdrive pully question
Will I have any problems with a under drive pully if I have a amp in my car. I didnt even think about that but someone today told me I might have a problem. Whats the scoop?

The issue is, at idle, the underdrive pulleys may not provide enough current to drive high demand stereo amps. I have the UD pulleys, and tested with the stock stereo on high, A/C on high, lights and fog lights on, and had no problem, but the stock Bose is, perhaps, power challenged, shall we say? No problems here, and have a V12 amp, not even battery Cap yet either. If you get a 3 peice, the Alt pully should be smaller, spinning it faster, so your not underdriving it by much.

There doesn't seem to be any issues with the UDP, except for the tedious install.
My gauges read between 13.9-14.5 volts.
There is a seperate issue with lights dimming when accesories are used (mainly with the HVAC system on) but that happens in cars without pulleys too.
