Well, Open or closed, enjoyed reading the responses. Although not quite as much as my completely measured and careful response to that silly little wing on the back of that car.

There s a few Crossfires running mid-low-11s on YouTube. I wouldn't have believed it if i hadn't watched the video and saw the time posted on the "scoreboard".lol

Yeah I looked up the stock hp numbers and there is a 330hp SRT version at around 3200lbs. I would guess that given enough money that car could be pretty quick but it's already intercooled and turbo'd. I'm sure like our Vettes the factory tuned them for longevity vs. squeezing every ounce of juice and having them only last 5 years...

Either way most of 'em aren't even close to vette country. Even if they managed to build a faster car (there's always gonna be one somewhere), they're still driving a Daimler/Chrysler.

actually, they're intercooled and supercharged...but I think they only came with an auto tranny. I'm sure they're very quick, but they look ugly...

Gotta love a little innocent fun when you can get it. I was almost embarassed to post the story involving myself and a kid trying to show off to his girlfriend in his mid-90's cobra getting on to the interstate the other day. I never even had to leave 3rd gear before he gave up!
