clutch prefrence and install ?
What clutch should I go with? Stock Ls7 do the trick or a low stage spec? Which flywheel? and i should also replace /upgrade to a stock c5 z06 slave right? Will I need any specialty tools?
Also does anyone have a link to a top to bottom clutch install job?
thanks for time and help
Nick

You could search this forums search engine, but you won't get the hit you need. Funny thing as it was posted here in some big time posts.
Again the "what clutch do you need" threads are a dime a dozen and are fun as ever to wade through as many heated debates on the subject.

I was looking for stock feel, ability to hold 450 ft lbs & no 1/4 mile.
Opinions were LS7 clutch/flywheel with a new slave & remote bleed would be fine.
The clutch holds the power
the pedal does stick to the floor
The pedal engages right off the floor
Opinions are that is normal or I have not bleed it properly or it will improve as the clutch breaks in or I need a new master cylinder.
I'm on my second barrel of brake fluid with no change & have followed a couple of different bleeding recommendations with no change.
I was fortunate to drive a Monster clutch before I made my choice, that clutch had no ability to modulate the pedal, not what I was looking for.
Does this help?

NO LS7
and NO Monster clutches

I keep leaning towards a spec 3 kit with a c5 z06 slave and resurface the flywheel with a set of lg long tubes while im their lol, and drive the car as fast as possible to work to pay off this stuff. lol
