I've got a feeling that these are going to be like the famous Bassani bolt on, not cutting require, off-road x-pipe.
Bassani kept saying,..... we tested it and it works great. Production units will be available in the summer.....units will be available in the fall......units will be available in the winter......they'll be available in the spring ........ Glad I made my own and never waited on those guys.
My guess is that if there had been progress on the kit, they'd want to let eveyone know about the great progress and results.

Any word on the ARE TT kit of the corvette as far as availability. :rolleyes:

Hey Phil,
I've been keeping track of the TT progress as I really am interested in this package.
It seems to be one of those "So Close but Yet so far" situations. Nick has done extensive work on a '99 TT Prototype. He is close but I've been told by a reliable source that what has been holding it up is a 3rd party - I'm unsure who that 3rd party is, whether its Turbo Tech (The Turbo Manufacturer) or a 3rd party to one of the components (eg manifold, etc). But it is no longer in Nick's hands. Because of this, I was also told its 1-2 months away - that was the last time table that I was specifically given.
In speaking with Nick many times on this, I truly believe it will happen mainly because Nick has put lots of time into it and most likely would have aborted the project by now if he didn't think it was going to make it. This makes me also believe it will be a good sound package when it is completed.
However, if you can't wait for ARE's TT and still want one, well, you can spend an additional $7500 (approximately) and get LPE's TT. Believe me, I've thought about it but I just don't want to spend that much on a package. I'd rather just settle with the PROCHARGER at $7700 OTD (when you consider keying the crank).

Just a quick clarification, the manifolds are going to be castiron instead of the stainless due to reliab. issues down the road and also a better manifold design has been implemented for better power.
The manifolds are getting worked on and have stated these things in the past but I know that these threads are hard to stay on top of. We have not made any posts on thihs subject due to we can not go any further with the project untill the manifolds are done and we can test again.
getting this package as good as it can be power/reliability wise is our top priority and will not release it until we are there! Know one would be happier than I to be able to start selling these kits right now.
When there is more data I will post and keep everyone updated.
