Default Clean!

A while back I was bragging about how good my bottom end looked after a tear down at 150K miles. Here is a untouched photo of the left bank, the right bank looked exactly the same. Of course I had a minor leak due to a blown head gasket between number three jug and water jacket.

Even the heads were clean, valves tight and seal in excellent shape. There was no scrubbing or cleaner used on theheads just med high pressure hot water!

Here are the other photos.

What Engine Oil & Oil drain intervals?

No sludge at all before the pressure cleaning?

Owned the car since new?

I change the oil and filter every 2500 - 3000 miles. I only use Mobile 1 synth 5W30 and K&N filters. Also I watch the oil and if it starts to loose it's translucense (sp, sorry) I change it.

No sludge at all !!!!! None!

Yup! Owned since new! I don't baby it, I do autocross, not a garage queen by any means.

LG headers, LS6 intake 3" SS cats Halltech system, RPM tranny, 2400 Stall converter. Dewitts radiator, B&M tranny cooler, phadt coil overs, Hotchkiss sway bars, Bare rotors with Hawk pads, brake bias kit, bump steer kit, Modified MAF, Oil breather catch can, 3.42 rear end, Tunnel plate, brake bias kit. the only thing I have not done is heads and cam.

Every day driver.
