FYI: On page 3-66 of my 2002 service manual it warns that rear wheel bearing assemblies should not be used on the front. It says:
The Rear Wheel Hub/Wheel Speed Sensor requires the support of the drive axle and the drive axle nut clamped joint to properly carry the vehicle loads. Mounting the Rear Wheel Hub/Wheel Speed Sensor in the front steering knuckle can cause bearing failure and possible damage to the vehicle.
The above being said, I know the new SKF race bearings can be mounted on the front or rear, however, they have been designed to do so.
