Default Telescopic column upgrade

I have installed a telesopic column in my C5, which had a regular column. I added the wiring from the seat to the column from a C5 wire harness. I have the seat control module for the telescopic wheel, but can't get the column and seat to work properly. I went to the dealer and they said they have to re-program the Body control module. This makes sense since it controls the seat module. My question is do I have to change the driver door module also from a car that had the telescopic column or is this not necessary because I don't have the auto adjusting mirrors. I appreciate any info someone have. I don't want to find this out at the dealer and end up paying an arm and a leg.

I am not sure what you are going to end up with in regards to errors/codes. The telescoping steering wheel has a memory function that works in conjunction with the SCM as that is where the information is stored. So turning on the memory function yet the LDCM and RDCM may expect the mirrors to have the memory function there and yet they don't, so you might very well get codes on them.
