Presently am running Borla cat backs on my 99 frc.Exhaust is a little over a year old. I am looking to swap this exhaust out for something alot quieter without sacrificing performance....can it be done and who makes it?
I had Borla Stingers and they were too loud for me with long tube headers and a catless x-pipe. I switched to the Z06 titanium exhaust and it's much better. GM engineers did a great job engineering the Z06 catback and most people say you don't really gain anything by going with something else other than changing the sound.

Hi Blackula,
If you have our aggressive-sounding "stingers" now, you can always swap to our "touring" kit. The muffler configuration on the touring system is just slightly more restrictive than the stinger, while still vastly outflowing the stock setup. Thankfully, all of our mufflers use a straight-through muffler design, with no chamber or baffles to impede the exhaust flow. As a result, there's only a one-two hp/trq difference between our stinger & touring setup, while giving you a dramatic decrease in sound level.
