I am buying a set of C6 wheels, so they will be 18x8.5 and 19x10's. Will 255/35ZR18 fit on the front and a 305/30ZR19 fit on the rear? I want jam in the most tire I can but I don't want it to rub. If these won't work, what will? My car is a 99FRC. thanks.

I run stock C6 Polished wheels on ,my C5 but the sizes I used were the stock C6 sizes 245-40-18 and 285-35-19 ,you will need a spacer on the rears fronts will be fine .
Would a 245/40/18 and a 305/30/19 set off any unwanted TC or active handling codes? The fronts are the same overall height as the stock C5 tires while the rears are slightly smaller. Going from a 26.6" to a 26.25" inches. It's only about 1.5% shorter. I work for Michelin so these are the Pilot Sport PS2 numbers, the tires are free so I want to go as big as possible.
They do make a 255/35/18, they would be 25.0" tall verses 25.7" tall. That is approximately 2.8% shorter than stock. Will a 255/35 at 2.8% shorter and a 305/30 that is 1.2% shorter trigger any codes in the car?
I trust 8VETTE7, he helped me on numerous occasions but just looking for another opinion, Will a 255/35/18 at 2.8% shorter and a 305/30/19 that is 1.2% shorter trigger any codes in the car? TC or active handling, I'm not too concerned with the speedo being off, I'll be happy if that is all that is affected.

I run 305/30-19's on mine with C6Z06 wheels and stock C5 offsets. They barely touched the innner panels under "spirited" driving conditions.A 1/4 inch spacer cured that.
