2000 to 2001 wiring harness issues
We needed an engine from a 00 donor for the 01 vette. Here's the problem. We swapped the drive line out of the 00 to the 01 because the 01 was damaged. We were also missing the abs pump in the 01 but had it in the 00. We noticed the pump and the wiring was different so we now have to swap the harness to the front of the car no problem but a pain. BUT, we noticed that the harness coming out of the firewall behind the battery not only has different plugs, but has different colored wires as well. Swapping driveline and front body harnesses are a no brainer. Does anyone actually know what is involved with swapping the harness that goes into the firewall? What components are different inside? What is involved? Both cars have the exact same options! Help
