I took my car out for the very first time to Kennedale and I am not sure whether my numbers are good or not. I know it would be better to take it to a 1/4 mile track but there is not one near here. Well...since this was the first time I've ever raced...don't have anything to compare my times to. The vette isn't really that loaded....just the usual bold-ons...here are my times:
So if you can either post your times so can kinda try and figure out where I stand or else let me know what you think...I would appreciate it!!! :smash: :smash:
This past summer at Kennedale, I believe I was running 8.30-8.40's @ 86-87 mph......with 2.1 60' foot times with the mods in my sig.
My care is a M6 which is probably the reason for the higher trap speeds.
Once you are able to bring those 60' times down, your ET will look much better to you. The drag strip is addicting. :yesnod:
Los here is a little trick get your 1/8 mile et and multiply it by 1.55 you will be in the ball park. Example look at cmilvettes post then look at his signature 8.30et times 1.55 gives you 12.86 and he ran according to his signature 12.85. that means you would of ran 13.48.
8.94 @ 80 mph
8.73 @ 83 mph
8.95 @ 80 mph (60' all about 2.1)
bald runcraps, no experience, traction control on, first time for me too
better tires, more experience, no t/c, vortex rammer
just waiting for spring to get here  :yesnod:
Thanks for the numbers guys...I guess I fall on the average side...still not up there with you BIG DAWGS :smash: :smash: :smash: but I'll have to work on it...I guess a torque converter would be in order to pull my times down...I'm currently running on 3.15's and don't think I'll be going to 3.42's anytime soon though...next time I post my times it will be after adding my next mod...hopefully by then I'll be worthy of running at Ennis...:D    :D

If you have 3.15s no need to go to 3.42s. You'll need tires after the TC install, otherwise you'll just spin off the line and not get full use of the TC.
Done with my fully street/emissions legal daily driver C4, MN6. Temp was in upper 50s, track well prepped, M/T ET streets, no skinnies...and ME, scared to death!!!
