A small screw from the end of my cell phone charger fell off and into the cigarrette lighter and when I went in to reach it to get it out a small spark emitted and then the lighter didn't work again. I checked the #1 and #7 fuse and they seemed fine, I even changed them just in case.
What else should I check for?
Thanks.

Re: Help! Cigarrette lighter doesn't work after . . . (Lil Red)
I had a similar thing happen to me a few years ago on my Mustang. The screw actually had welded the + and - leads together down in the socket causing a permanent short. I had to go in a do a little surgery to open up the short.
With you fuses being OK, this may not be the case.

My cigarrette lighter quick working also, and the fuse was bad. It's in the passenger foot well - I can't remember the fuse number but it was something like 18 or 20. Get an electronic testor so you don't have to remove the fuse and it will be easy to check.
