Factory wheel sensors! help
If I get aftermarket wheels without them, can a stop an error code from showing up? Is so, how?
Also, can any aftermarket wheels be fitted with the sensor or already has them?
I was thinking aftermarket 2001 sytle polished, or used OEM Z06 wheels. These have them right?
I'm about to take the rears off for drag radials, when I put the stock ones back, any errors should clear, right?

The wheel sensors can be taken off the stock wheels and placed on the new wheels. No problem. Just check with the wheel maker to see if the sensors will fit the wheel. Most will. :cheers:

In the wheel/tire section there is a post that states the error message will show up about 200 times and then stop. 'Reset' each time you start up will drop the error message. I have GM #10438853 sensors from 'Ken Fichtner" on OEM Z06 wheels. That # is the stem mount type and I believe works on '97-'00. I haven't put the stock wheels and EMTs back on yet and do not know if I will have to relearn them or not. (Relearning is in the tech tips section). Be good to yourself.
