Ok was in New Orleans and the streets are garbage down there... it had been raining all night and I came up on this part of the street that was flooded. I didn't realize it at first so I was still going around 15 mph when I hit the puddle. My car died in the puddle and it started back up but was having trouble staying running. I had to leave the car in the parking lot because the water got so high there was no way for me to leave.... Also was running very very low on gas.... On the way home this morning I got some gas and rode for about 15 mins then it throw the code and shut the power to my car down. Also telling me to service active handling and traction control. So I pulled over and killed the car and restarted it, it rode good for about 10 mins and then did it again and will not go back off.. Any thoughts or anybody had this problem before?
P.S.
Car is a 2002 Z06

A number of things can cause the reduced engine power. Start by cleaning all of your grounds. Read the stickies up top. Bill Curlee is the absolute best at these kinds of issues. I've even read about an exposed wire in the passenger door boot causing this problem.

Yea I read the sticky note at the top about this problem, but I didn't see anything about water being involved so figured I would post to see if anybody had this same problem. I checked most of the stuff he listed in his sticky.
Yea I pulled my codes and it keep giving me the throttle body position sensor but the water didn't get no wheres near that part of the motor. So I was thinking something else was causing them codes.
Please list the codes. Without seeing them, I'm going to venture a guess that your throttle body blade isn't closing properly. Could be the connector itself is dirty or the blade has some goop in it. Seriously, the actual codes will help and when Bill Curlee sees your thread, he can better assist with the code information.
Check the TPS and ETC connectors for water intrusion. Also, pull the right front inner fender, behind the tire, and check the PCM and TAC module connectors for water. By the sounds of it, you just something wet.
