Default B-Alert,3rd lite flasher

Purchased this mod from L.A.P.D.(SHAWN).I got tired of fools climbing my rear end(my veh.).I installed it w/o adjusting the flasher. It flashes about 9 times when I step on the brake once.No more people on my tail, but I have been flipped off about 50 times.I didn't realize how popular this mod would make me.Seriously,it is a mod I think you should consider. :chevy :chevy :flag :chevy :chevy

I had the original prototype installed on both of my C5's before any were sent to Shawn for retail sales. I really like it. And, as you said, I have noticed much more distance between the myself and the following cars. No middle fingers yet though. ;)

Guys,

I have had mine on my coupe for awhile now, but I never got flipped off.

The great thing about this mod is that nobody even wants to be behind me anymore, let along tailgate me.

This is a must for EVERY C5 AND Z06 on the road.

Shawn

Awesome mod...specially when ricers crawl up your tail to tailgate and taunt....and all of the sudden your brake light flashes in their face, prior to your introducing them to your dust.

That may explain the flip off feeling - though i havent' noticed anyone flip me off yet....

Yea. I think the one fingered sparrow is now the new state "bird. I installed mine about 2 weeks ago and it works! The only thing that works better is a windshield washer that sprays over your car! I haven't had any magic finger yet but I do love the extra room I get. That was my first mod on my "02. Mike

I installed mine a few weeks back. I really like it. The whole process took about 45 minutes. Now that I've done it once, I'm sure I could do it again in 10 minutes. It took me awhile to figure out how to reach the plug behind the 3rd brake light. I eventually put my whole arm in the bumper area all the way up to and including my elbow. I could then just reach it and the rest was relatively easy.

I have not been fingered yet, however it does make drivers more aware. I really like that device, plus it is so cool.

Holy Blinking Batman, ROD, you must be driving your car at least 24 hours a day to get 50 BIRDS since installing you 3rd light flasher.

I've had mine operating for about a month now and all I've got is a question from another C5 driver about where I got it, and of course I told him LAPD. As far as keeping others off my tail, I haven't noticed any difference. I had one AH today that looked like he was trying to park his Expolrer in my trunk. All the safety warning systems and blinking lights in the world can't detur the AH's of this world. :D

I have had mine for about 6 weeks and love it! It's about a 20 min. install, really easy. It does seem to keep the tailgaters off your rear! A very cool option.
