Default Whistle after shutdown of supercharged LS1

Thank you to all who wrote about a plugged PVC valve causing strange noises just like a bad bearing. My ProCharged LS1 would make screeching sounds like a slipping belt after the engine had warmed and then would whistle for 5 seconds after shutdown. When I took the oil filler cap off there was a huge sucking sound as the vacuum equalized. My problem was not the PVC valve, but an installation error. There is a line that goes from the air filter to the valve cover. During the supercharger installation I had to join the original line with another one to make it long enough. I used a coupling supplied by ProCharger to join the two. It turns out the coupling was a check valve and as luck would have it, I stalled it backwards. Thus no air for the PVC resulting in screeching and whistling. So thank you to those who wrote about the symptoms of a stuck PVC valve that led me to discover my problem before replacing belts and pulleys. Don
