Replacing relay in engine bay (where fuses go)
I'm doing diagnostic checking on a short that is blowing fuses on my smog pump. I had to pull the relays for the smog pump and the solenoid.
I'm at the step where I have to put them back in one at a time and see if the fuse blows when I throw a load on it. I looked at the relays and notice they can be put back in any old way. I would have thought they'd be keyed or something so they can only go in one way.
The relays have a diagram on them but I'm still not sure about which way to put them in.
Can anyone offer any help on which way to install them?
I'm wondering if any of the others may be installed incorrectly...

Never mind. I figured it out. The pins are in diagonal corners, so no matter how I put the relay in, the open/closed pins will always be in the same place.
