Mike Mercury wrote a "how to" post on this problem. The culprit may be inside the loom between the fender and the door. This is usually where the wires become pinched. Common C5 problem.

Wiggle the accordion like rubber thing between the door and fender while you're trying to roll your window down. I'll bet you that your window starts working. If so, there are plenty of write-ups to help you out.
