The steering rack does not need to completely come out of the car. You can pull it out through the drivers side wheel well just enough to get to the crank bolt. Once it is moved you can then remove the balancer and front cover. Once the cover is removed you need to remove the oil pump. There is one 10 mm bolt that is located on the bottom left side that holds the pickup in place. I sugggest that you stuff a clean rag in the opening at the oil pan just in case you loose control of the bolt and it doesn't end up in the pan!!
Once you have reached this point you are half way there!!
