Default Had P1416-Changed Check valves-Now P0410

I had P1416 - I tried the WD40 for a few weeks(thanks Bill C.) I had to change out the 2 check valves. I get the car running and I hook up OBD2 scanner the P1416 is gone and pull a P0410 instead.

I did the search and pulled up a few treads with pertaining to P0410 - I saw Bill C's one to find out if the air pump is good or not and I pulled off my hose at the alternator and turned on the car and after a few seconds the air pump came on and was putting out air, seemed strong enough.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe I need to disconnect the battery to reset it, I really don’t know.

Any ideas?

Here's a link to reset the codes. If you need an airpump or check valves, I just took mine off of my 2004.http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...-to-share.html

I knew how to reset the codes from the dash, I just didnt know if a hard reset was needed.

Anyone else know where to go from here?
