has anyone done this? it doesn't seem like it would be too complicated of an install (tuning is a different story). an APS or STS kit feeding a Maggie would be NUTS.
here is what gave me the idea. Hellion Hellraiser 03/04 cobra
I would pick just one and stick with it. A properly setup supercharger or turbo kit can produce more power than a motor will handle. I believe there are pictures floating around of similar setups on GM cars like in the photos above though.

the only GM car i have seen is a truck with a single turbo into a maggie.
i just think its a cool idea and its different.
one of my buddies replaced the stock eaton with an 01 cobra intake manifold and picked up 98 peak rwhp. peak torque was the same. but he lost 300 rwtq at 4k rpm
I've seen it done before on a conventional small block. I think the guys name was Rick Dobertin in two different cars. The first one was like a 66 chevyII with twin turbos on a big 6-71 blower. The second car had a similar setup on a newer car.
It's flashy but you never see the guys with the race trophies at the end of the day with that setup.

twins into a 6-71? holy crap!
haha, my car isn't a track car anyway. i drive it around on the street a LOT. i figure since i'm not gonna compete with it, i might as well do something different
IMO compounding isn't worth it on a (non-max effort full race) gas engine. Diesel on the other hand... Would you like fries with that 100psi of boost?
If you want to do something different FI-wise -- maybe do a nice sequential turbo set up. I don't think I've seen that (though lots of talk about it). Maybe a mid size that makes boost quickly feeding the exhaust side of a big thumper. Or maybe even twins feeding (set up for instant, off idle boost production) a huge single. You could even get all crazy and design a valve in the system that skips the smaller turbo(s) in the exhaust loop once the big dog is spun up.
Keeping the head gaskets in the car isn't a big deal for any amount of boost you might run in a streetable car. J19 studs over-torqued and an excellent tune. Which is to say that there is still a chance you pop that weasel (as with all FI), but its not a high probability event.

those links are sick. i love the twin jet engine scooter! hahaha
i know where you are coming from with the sequential ideas for something different, but this will be much simpler and a bit stealthier if it works the way i want it to. a TTIx kit feeding into a Maggie should work pretty easily without much custom work. best thing is, you can pop the hood and everyone will think you are a 600 rwhp blown car, not a 1200 rwhp compound boost monster. hahaha
