audio: both speakers on passengers side

audio: both speakers on passengers side
have popping noise in them even with the unit on and the volume off.
Car stereo guy, bench checked door speaker and checked out o.k.
He thinks it's the audio control module circuit board above the gas pedal
This is the original bose system in my '99 c5, bought about a month ago
Any info on this is greatly appreciated as this part is big bucks,
and not 100% sure this guy knows what he is talking about.
I am a new member and this is my first post.
The forum is great, wish there was info like this 32 years ago when i was restoring my 66 big block.

The Bose Signal Processor feeds only the Subwoofers in the doors, so if the problem exist in the rear speaker, probably not the Signal Pressor.
