Default Vacuum Leak, need help!

Hello,
Just installed an LS6 I purchased off a member on here. There was some issue with shipping where the bottom drivers side corner where the TB bolts to the intake was cracked. ANyways, the crack didn't go through to the inside of the intake, just outside. I managed to get all 3 bolts in and bolt the TB up and it seemed to seal just fine. I finished installing the intake along with a Catch Can set-up from CCA. Fired it up and I hear a loud noise, ton of air, definitely very noticeable. Fired up car without belt on.... noise still there. It sounds like it is coming from the catch can area, but very hard to tell. Do you guys have any ideas for me? Going to upload a video now.

Most typical is forgetting to attach the vacuum line at the back of the intake. No rocket science here....get a stethoscope, and poke around. Certainly does not help that the intake was damaged, and more may exist that you did not see. As usual, inspect all vacuum lines for cracks, security, etc.

lmao, we can close this thread down... I'm a bone-head. Just as I said it sounded like from the catch can area I did my checking around, turned the bottom drain plug once on it and it fell out....... my leak, haha. I tightened that back down, fired it up..... sounds great!

Did you make a video? I'd love to hear it!

Glad you got it resolved.
