I just had the front TPMS senors replaced. I followed the instructions for programing and the horn beeped on all but the last sensor. I tried different magnets still LF, RF, RR all beeped. Nothing for the LR. Do I simply need to use a larger magnet or would this indicate that this sensor has gone bad?(Was working just fine before).
Try a larger magnet but it sounds like that one is bad.. If you're getting the other ones to program then obviously you're doing the procedure correctly.
Do you have any other sensors?? What I did once, just to get 3/4 working, was to use a 4th sensor that wasn't even installed in a tire as that sensor. That at least let me get through the programming process and made 3/4 work for the time being. Then you can have the tire shop switch out the bad one with the one you programmed outside the car and all will work just fine..
Duhhh! Is it difficult to program the sensors? Where's a good place to purchase the right kind of magnet? I'm considering buying new wheels and tires with the sensors already installed. Thanks for any help with this.
