Ive had my Z06 and never looked into if anything had ever been done to the steering column lock, well today i was spraying the car off. Turned it on seen the code.. Turned it back off, then started it again the code popped up and i push reset and drove off. Turned it back off. Column locked.. Started it again and it popped up. Pushed reset and drove off.. Drove ten miles home no issues. I thought with this code it was suppose to cut fuel and not be drivable. ????

yea i went through it and maybe i just misread.. so if you did the recall they reprogrammed it so it cuts fuel?? Soooo its just a matter of time till this thing decideds not to unlock... ?? .. better get a harness or bypass
check the black wire at the connector for the column lock motor below the steering column. I see these loose in the dealer all the time. Tighten the terminal and clear the codes. (motor side of connector; female terminal) test drive to see if it resets.
