I purchased a 2001 Corvette Convertible from CarMax with 46k miles less then 30days ago, took it in for a pinging noise, techs didnt find anything and gave the car back, when I got home there seemed to be a greasy type residue all over under the hood, paid no attention to it and thought the mechanics made a mess.
Later in the night I started the car, and every single warning light went off, no oil psi, temp showed max, no gas, radio didnt work, windows didnt work, this morning all warnings still appear but engine wont start.
This is my first vette and I have no idea what this could be, any suggestions or advice.

Pics of the grease please.
With regard to the current problem, it sounds like classic class 2 serial buss shorting issue. First thing is first, check the battery cables for security.
grease isnt visible by camera, its a clear and light.
is there a solution for class 2 serial buss shorting issue?
Many systems use the class 2 for communication i.e radio, a/c, instruments, door controls, etc....if it comes down to that, it will take time to isolate.
Again, ensure the battery cables are secure.
Sounds like the car needs to go back to CarMax and let them fix it.
I think your right, it has a 30day bumper to bumper warranty so they are sending a tow truck to pick up the car, and service will look at it on monday.

Im just trying to see what the issue is...
I would insist on a flatbed! Not a tow truck. JMO.....

1) Do not buy cars at CarMax
2) Don't expect a CarMax mechanic to fix a Corvette.
Took the car to carmax yesterday, they sent a flat bed to pick it up.
Carmax is gonna look at it monday, I bought the extended warranty (have to pay a deductible) so I will let carmax have a shot at figuring it out, if not theres a corvette specialty shop near that I can take it too.
